Twisted Kismet

The sometimes crazy road from here to there

What is a Twisted Kismet?

Written By: Pam - Aug• 21•13

Some of you know I can be a little “twisted” but that’s not what I meant.  Honest.

The idea behind this blog has been in the back of my head for a while, longer than I care to admit.  It just took a while to get to this point.  Shoot, it took a long time just to come up with a somewhat appropriate name.

According to Dictionary.com,  “twist” or “twisted” is defined as:

  • to combine, as two or more strands of threads, by winding together; intertwine;
  • to entwine (one thing) with another; interlace (something) with something else;
  • to alter in shape, as by turning the ends in opposite directions, so that parts previously in the same straight line and plane are located in a spiral curve;
  • a deviation in direction, curve or bend;

and “kismet” is defined as fate or destiny.

Twisted Kismet is my way of thinking about how we go through life on this weird, sometimes mind-boggling twisted path to our fate or destiny.  We all get there eventually,some of us just take the scenic route.  And to be honest, the scenic route is sometimes the most fun.

But sometimes we (and I include myself in this) get stuck along the way.  We get lost or take a wrong turn along the winding road and have difficulty finding our way back.  Or out. Or we find it hard to get moving again to just find another way.  And that is what this blog is about.  Moving ahead.  Living your best life.  Finding a way to do what YOU want to do.  All while having a bit of fun along the way.

This will be the ultimate road trip.
